Ben Morris never forgets the day he was born. It was a Wednesday, over 20 years ago and since that day he has wanted to be one thing and one thing only; a formula one motor racing driver.

However, that was never really on the cards so instead he does very little.

Having been too disorganised to go to University, Ben threw some bits into a backpack and jaunted off around the world -- looking for something to tell the grandchildren when he grows up.

Adventurous Ben was attacked in Fiji, went skinny-dipping in shark-infested waters in Australia, ran over an alligator in the Florida Everglades and ate happy herb pizza in Cambodia.

Sounds like a complete disaster but the trip had its moments, although Ben admits he now spends most days banging his head against a wall and making animal noises.

At night, Ben hears his parents discussing what they should do with him.

But he's got his travel stories to share with people who enjoy them and Ben hopes that you'll return to the site to read them and give him some encouragement; if you find them mildly amusing and of an acceptable level.

Bukuya Village, Fiji:
Peni had the brainwave several years ago, to introduce foreigners to the traditional Fijian way of life; not only to provide an alternative to the small beach islands where the masses flock, but also to generate useful income for Bukuya village.

Don Khong, Laos:
Don Khong is the largest of the islands, situated at the southern tip of Laos just several miles from the Cambodian border.

Let The Good Times Roll in New Orleans:
New Orleans is an experience, it has a reputation to live up to and everything possible is done to ensure the reputation is maintained.

Village Life in Laos:
Don Khong is the largest of the islands, situated at the southern tip of Laos just several miles from the Cambodian border.

Whale Watching in New Zealand:
If you want to make the trip out to the whales, you get the choice of one company, one boat and one price for the whales and likewise for dolphins. Thankfully then, it’s a good company, good boat and good price.
